In the result, the application under section 6 (8) of the repealed Ordinance was dismissed. The facts giving rise to the appeal briefly put are these. 2. The five Elected Representatives of the workmen of the P. W. D. Workshop, Jamshoro (Hyderabad) made an application on 25th January 1969, under section 6 (8) of the repealed Ordinance. It was registered as Industrial Dispute No. 5 of 1969. The appellants raised four demands, namely (1) that all those employees of Irrigation Department of Ghulam Muhammad Barrage, who have completed 3 months service, should be declared permanent and entitled to pension, (2) the Factories Act may be extended to the employees of Ghulam Muhammad Barrage Irrigation Workshop at Jamshoro, (3) the, increments for 1967 of employees who have been recommended by S.
