All the accused petitioners were convicted under section 148 of the Pakistan Penal Code and each of them was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for one month under the said section. The accused petitioner Idris All was further convicted under section 304, Part II of the Pakistan Penal Code and was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 2 years under the said section. The sentences passed against him are to run concurrently. The accused petitioners 2 and 3 were further convicted under section 326 of the Pakistan Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 6 months each. Their sentences are also to run concurrently. The accused petitioner No, 4 was also convicted under section 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 3 months with the direction that the sentences passed against him have also to run concurrently.
