Judgment JUDGMENT MUHAMMAD AKRAM, J.--This will dispose of the following 21 regular first appeals, 12 filed by the Multan Improvement Trust, Multan, and the nine appeals filed by the respective land--owners, all directed against the award dated the 26th of October 1966, made by the Senior Civil Judge, Multan, in respect of the compensation assessed for the lands acquired by the Trust:- R. F. A. 32-67, 33-67, 36-67, 14-67, 37-67, 15-67, 43-67, 16-67, 38-67, 17-67, 35-67, 18-67, 40-67, 19-67, 41-67, 29-67, 42-67, 30-67, 39-67, 31-67 and 34-67. 2. The Multan Improvement Trust framed a Development Scheme under sections 24 and 25 read with section 28 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922, for the purposes of providing housing accommodation for middle class people. In this connection the usual notices under section 36 of the Act were published in the newspapers and the Government Gazette during December 1951- January 1952. In course of time the scheme was sanctioned by the Government under sections 41 and 42 of the Act and was notified in the Gazette Notifica--tion No. 1522-53/CNT, dated the 25th of May 1953. 3. This scheme was named as the "Development Scheme for the Middle Class Colony", popularly known as Shamshabad Colony situated on Multan-Khanewal Road, Multan. It is comprised…
