In the result, the application under section 6 (8) of the repealed Ordinance was dismissed. The facts giving rise to the' appeal briefly put are these. 2. The Five Elected Representatives of the workmen of P. W. D. Workshop, Jamahoro (Hyderabad), made an applica--tion on 25th January 1969, under section 6 (8) of the repealed Ordinance. It was registered as Industrial Dispute No. 5 of 1969. The appellants raised four demands, namely (1) that all these employees Of the Irrigation Department of Ghulam Mohammad Barrage, who have completed 3 months' services, should be declared permanent and entitled to pension, (2) the Factories Act may be extended to the employees of Ghulam Mohammad Barrage Irrigation Workshop, Jamshoro, (3) that increments for 1967 of employees, who have been recommended…
