In default of the payment of fine, he was directed to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for one month. His appeal was dismissed on 10th of February 1969. 2. The facts on which the conviction of the petitioner is grounded are these: The occurrence took place on 18th of March 1963, at about 6 p.m. Opposite Sarai Sultan, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Naulakha, Lahore. The petitioner Muhammad Farooq alias Sain had advanced a loan of Rs. 100 to Ghulam Rasul the adoptive father of Abdul Rashid (P. W. 1). The petitioner was demanding back the money without any success. On the day of occurrence, at the time mentioned above, the petitioner came to Abdur Rashid P. W. Who was standing in front of his house in Sarai Sultan, and demanded the money. Abdur Rashid asked him to make the demand from his father. The petitioner got enraged and started abusing Abdur Rashid. Abdur Rashid thereafter moved to the shop of Jafar A.I Shah which is at a distance of four or five yards from the house of Abdur Rashid.…
