Petitioner has filed this Constitutional Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 with the following prayer:- a) To direc t the official respondents to discharge their duties and protect the life, liberty and assets of the petitioner, further provide legal protection to the petitioner.

b) To restrain the respondents specially to the respondents No.6 to 8, their agents, employees, companions, workers, colleagues, friends, relatives, person/s and or any one acting on their behalf from causing harassment, humiliation, pressure, fear and mental torture as well as threatening for dire consequences and to restrain them from booking the petitioner in further false and fabricated cases at any police station of Karachi Division without earlier permission of this Honourable Court and without due course of law.

Learned AAG present in Court waives notice and states that no harassment shall be caused to the petitioner. Prima facie, t his is a simple case of harassment, therefore, this petition stands disposed o f alongwith pending applications with directions to the police officials to act strictly in accordance with law and if there is any pri vate family dispute between the parties, that shall be taken care of in accordance with law and police shall be neutral in the private affairs. However, no harassment shall be caused to either party. However, it is made clear that if any cognizable offence is committed, police shall be free to act accordingly.
