O R D E R Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J. – Petitioner Abdullah has fi led the instant Constitution Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, seeking a declaration and consequential direction for release of his retirement benefits, including gratuity and other pensionary dues, from the respondents. 2. It is contended by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was initially appointed in 1987 as Malaria Colony (BPS -02) and retired from service on 13.12.2023. Since his retirement, his lawful dues have not been released. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent KMC submits that the petitioner was retired from service in 2025. It is further stated that the pension case of the petitioner was received on 07.08.2024 and subsequently finalized on 31.10.2024, with an admissible amount of Rs. 1,593,588/ -. With regard to the commutation amount, it is submitted that the same shall be released within three weeks. The said position appears to be reasonable and is agreed upon. 4. When confronted with the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be disposed of in terms of the statement made by the Finance & Accounts Department, KMC. 5. Accordingly, without touching the merits of the case and with consent of the parties, the petition stands disposed of along with all pending applications in the above terms. JUDGE JUDGE
