It is inter alia contended that the petitione r is the owner of plot No.L -2 admeasuring 6050 square yards, Block -22 Federal B. Industrial Area, Karachi. Learned counsel states that the petitioner has been issued an approved building plan dated 26.8.2020 which shows that his access to the property is f rom the 200 feet vide road. He further contended that the respondents are constructing a Bus Station in front of his property on such 200 feet vide road under the Peoples Bus Service Program which is being done without an Environment Impact Assessment and shall curtail the access to this property. This Court vide order dated 31.7.2025 i ssued notices to the respondents with directions to appear and assist this Court, meanwhile, they were restrained from carrying out construction of the bus station in front of the subject property of the petitioner. Today, the SHO concerned has submitted report, wherein he has stated that they will act strictly in accordance with law. In view of above position, the official respondents are directed not to cause any sort of har assment to the petitioner and shall act strictly in accordance with law. So far as the construction of the bus station in front of the property of the petitioner is concerned, the same shall be constructed atleast 30 feet away from the plot of the petitioner. Petition stands disposed of in the above terms alongwith listed / pending application(s).
