O R D E R
Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J. – Petitioner Maqsood Bibi has instituted the present Constitution Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, praying for the direction against the Respondents for immediate release of the arrears of pension with effect from the date of retirement of her late husband, i.e., 25.04.2021. She further prays that the pension be transferred and regularized in her name as family pension with effect from 05.11.2025. In addition, she requests the release of all service benefits including gratuity, General Provident Fund, insuran ce, and other admissible retirement dues in accordance with the applicable Government rules and policy. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband was employed as a Sanitary Worker in BPS-02 and retired from service on 25.04.2021. After his reti rement, he subsequently passed away on 05.11.2025. Despite the lapse of considerable time, the family pension and other post-retirement benefits have not been released in favour of the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel appearing for KMC submits that the case of family pension requires processing at the level of TMC New Karachi, and thereafter the same shall be forwarded to KMC for further action. It is further assured that the matter shall be processed within a period of two weeks and KMC will coordinate with concerned TMC to resolve the pension issue.

In view of the above position, without touching the merits of the case and with concernt of the parties present in Court, the instant petition along with pending application(s) is disposed of with the direct ion that TMC New Karachi shall process the pension case of the petitioner and forward the complete record to the office of KMC within one week. Upon receipt of the same, KMC shall process the matter expeditiously and ensure disbursement of the pensionary b enefits to the petitioner’s account in accordance with law within two weeks. A copy of this order be communicated to TMC New Karachi for immediate compliance.
