Petitioner Talib has filed this Constitutional Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, seeking directions to the respondents to prevent the lodging of false FIRs against him and his family members and to provide them protection. Respondent No.5 present in Court submits that he has not harassed the petitioner. Learned Assistant PG submits that every person has a constitutional right to approach the Court of law, if the police is reluctant to register FIR, a concerned Justice of Peace is free to take action, if there is a cognizable offence made out against any of the individual s. However, in the present case, no harassment shall be caused t o either party . The police shall take action, if there is a ny concrete evidence available against the petitioner , in accordance with law. However, parties shall not harass to each other and police shall be neutral in private affairs subject to all just exceptions as provided under the law. Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
