Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J . – The petitioner Muhammad Saleem h as filed the captioned Constitutional Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, seeking following relief(s):- “a. Declare that the refusal by the Respondents to renew the CNIC of the Petitioner is illegal, arbi trary, discriminatory, mala fide, without lawful authority, and of no legal effect

b. Direct the Respondents to immediately process and issue the renewed CNIC of the Petitioner

c. Restrain the respondents from taking any adverse action without due process of law.”

2. It appears from the record that the petitioner CNIC is digitally impounded as fraud by matching NARA record. Case marked to DLC Karachi Central for providing a fair chance of hearing, but he did bother not appear before DLC.

3. learned counsel for NADRA submits that t he petitioner may be directed to appear at V&R Branch Awami Markaz along with all documents in original prior to 1979, Alpha Family member and this LCMS ID for evaluation his case as per current verification and revocation policy.

4. When confronted with the legal position of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to approach the V&R Branch located at Awami Markaz along with all documents in original prior to 1979. The aforesaid exercise shall be undertaken within one week.
