Iqbal Parveen, daughter of aforesaid Ghulam Muhammad Tasleem from the latter's illegal detention and setting her at liberty. 1. The petitioner, who is not related to the alleged detenu, claims to be a person whose family had close relations with the family of the detenu, has alleged, that he happened to visit the house of the respondent accompanied by his wife and daughters and on arrival at that place, was surprised to learn that the respondent was detaining his daughter Mst. Iqbal Parveen in a locked room, in view of the fact, that she did not agree to marry a person of respondent's choice. It is also alleged, that the detenu cried for help from inside the room and requested, that she should be rescued from her confinement. 2. As the detenu happened to be the daughter of the respondent, instead of deputing a Bailiff to recover her, it was thought proper to issue notice to the respondent to produce her in Court himself.
