ORDER Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J. Petitioner Mst. Shama, has filed the instant petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, seeking directions to the respondents to release her pensionary benefits, remaining difference of monthly family pension as the same are not being paid to her despite her hectic efforts. Since the issue involved in the present case is with regard to release of the pensionary benefits, therefore, this Court vide order dated 03.2.2026, directed the respondents to release the pensionary benefits of the petitioner and pursuant to this Court’s order, a cheque No.25361601 dated 18.2.2026 amounting to Rs.1,940,751/ - issued in favour of the petitioner / widow of Ahsan, Ex -Sanitary Worker (BPS -2), Town Municipal Corporation, New Karachi being the full and final payment on account of pension commutation (including pension arrears), whose husband retired from service on 14.8.2023. Learned counsel for the KMC submits that petitioner is also drawing monthly pension regularly vide Inward No.61775 dated 14.11.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the aforesaid position of the case and seeks disposal of the instant petition in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent / KMC.
