O R D E R Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J Petitioner Muhammad Jalal has fil ed this Constitutional Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, seeking renewal/reissuance of his CNIC, which has been digitally impounded by NADRA based on matching the NARA record and related discrepancies in his family tree and place of birth record. It appears from the record that the Petitioner’s case has been marked as a complex case and referred to DLC East Karachi by NADRA Headquarters for decision in accordance with policy; however, the Petitioner ha d not approached the said forum. Learned counsel for the Petitioner, however, submits that the Petitioner is now ready and willing to appear before the concerned forum/Regional Verification Board for re-analysis of his case and for passing a speaking order. In view of the above, with the consent of the parties present in court, this petition is disposed of with the direction to the Petitioner to appear before DLC East Karachi/Regional Verification Board along with all original documents within two weeks. The concerned authority shall decide the case of the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law and applicable policy, and pass a speaking order after providing an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner, preferably within a period of four weeks thereafter.
