From the date of the application which was made for making it rule of the Court till the amount which was awarded was realised. 2. The facts which form the background according to counsel for the parties are that a suit was filed for dissolution of partnership and accounts by the partners of the firm "Khan Saheb Muhammad Usman" impleading as defendants two gentlemen who were said to be the sub- partners of the firm. During the pendency of the suit a Receiver was appointed who was also given the power to arbitrate on the disputes which were existing amongst the parties. It was found that there was a dispute between the parties to the suit and the Karachi Co-operative Housing Societies Union Limited which was not a party to the proceedings, but a letter was addressed by the Union to the Presiding Judge on the 2nd of May 1961, stating in it that the Directors of the Union had passed a resolution to refer their disputes to…
