O R D E R Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J Petitioners Mst. Seema and Ibrar Hussain filed the present petition under Article 199 of the Constitution seeking protection of their lives, liberty, and peaceful marital life against alleged harassm ent by private respondents and misuse of police machinery. 2. It was contended by the counsel for the petitioner that petitioner No.1, after obtaining Talaq from respondent No.11, solemnized a free -will court marriage with petitioner No.2 on 30.03.2026 an d both are residing together peacefully. Learned counsel submitted that despite the lawful marriage, the private respondents were /are extending threats and using police influence to harass the petitioners and their relatives, for which applications seeking protection had already been submitted before the concerned authorities. 3. Police officials appeared b efore this Court and undertook to provide protection to the petitioners and ensure that no harassment is caused to them. They are directed to obtain a bo nd in the sum of Rs. 500,000/- from respondent No.11 to maintain peace and refrain from causing any interference in the lives of the petitioners. 4. In view of the statement made by the police officials, learned counsel for the petitioners sought the disposal of the petition. Accordingly, without touching the merits of the case, the petition, along with pending application(s) is disposed of in the above terms.
