ORDER Adnan-ul-Karim Memon, J. Petitioner Waheed has filed this Constitutional Petition under Article 199 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 seeking following relief(s):_ 1. To declare that the respondents unlawfully blocked the CNIC and passport of the petitioner and to direct them to immediately unblock the same.
2. To direct the respondents to return or hand over all documents seized from the petitioner by Respondent No. 1.
3. To declare that the actions of the respondents, including the arrest of the petitioner by Respondent No. 1 and the seizure of his documents, were illegal and amounted to contempt of court.
4. To direct the respondents to pay Rs.500,000/ - to the petitioner as compensation for his monetary loss.
5. To pass an order directing that legal action be taken against the respondents in accordance with the law.
6. To grant any other relief or reliefs which this Honorable Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances.

Learned counsel for NADRA has submitted that, according to NADRA’s impounding records, the petitioner’s CNIC No.42401-8178645-1 has already been restored and cleared as per HQ Minute Sheet No. Nadra/hq Ops/rev -12/i&p 18- 12732a dated 06.01.2023, in accordance with the orders previously passed by this Court. In light of the above, he has requested disposal of the petition. 3. Learned coun sel for the petitioner has expressed satisfaction with this statement and also seeks disposal of the petition in terms of the statement dated 26.01.2026.

On the previous date of hearing, the officer from FIA also attended and submitted that the inquiry regarding the travel restriction imposed on the petitioner has been concluded, and there is currently no impediment to the return of his passport. 5. In view of the foregoing, with the consent of the parties present in Court this petition is disposed of accordingly.
