Respondent No, 2 Sheikh Amir Ali son of Abdul Qadir who was impleaded as party by this Court on 24-6-1970, made an application (Annexure 'C') to the Chief Accounts Officer, Settlement Organization, Lahore for the purpose of scrutinizing the claims of the petitioners which, according to him, were bogus as the petitioners had no property in India. The petitioners thereafter received a notice .Annexure from respondent No, 1, Settlement and Rehabilitation Commissioner with powers of Claims Commissioner, Lahore Division, under section 14 (2) of Registration of Claims Act of 1956 directing them to appear before him on 6-8-1969 in connection with their verified claims. 2.
